Service Awards
We honor employees for their dedication and years of service to the University. Service Awards recognize milestones and celebrate the commitment of all staff and faculty members who contribute to Ä¢¹½´«Ã½â€™s success and community.
Staff Council
UNC Staff Council is composed of Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ SHRA and EHRA staff members representing various areas of our campus community. Staff council works collaboratively with the Office of Human Resources specifically the Director of Employee Relations & Engagement.
Employee Engagement Survey
The UNC System Office Employee Engagement Survey is a every two-year scheduled workplace satisfaction survey designed to provide insights into staff and faculty engagement trends across UNC institutions. Data received through this survey helps to enhance the UNC System’s work environment so that all UNC System employees can be successful in the work they accomplish for students and the State of North Carolina.
The Office of Human Resources gathers this critical feedback about our University workplace climate, communication, leadership, and resources to guide improvements, recognize strengths, and ensure that all employees have the opportunity to contribute their ideas and perspectives.
The survey is administered online to all permanent faculty and staff through a third-party vendor. Survey participation is voluntary but highly encouraged, and individual responses are confidential.
